Xolo play Tegra Note- FASTEST TABLET

No comments : Posted by Unknown at 22:51 Labels: Android , Nexus , NVDIA , Xolo
Xolo  a Smartpone manufacturer who is Fighting for it's spot in Indian market with Micromax and karbon launched a Tablet the company claims it's  world's fastest tablet. The tablet comes in the category of Nexus 7, Tegra Note is priced at $199 and Rs 17,999 at US and Indian market respectively. The main attractions of the phone are it's NVDIA Tegra 4 chipset, performance of Integrated stylus  and  Inbuilt memory of 16 GB.

OS used in Tegra Note is most polpular version of Android Jellybean, Androd 4.2.2 .Xolo promised an upgrade to 4.3 and then to Kitkat in near future. They stick to Stock version of Android itself with only a few changes. It include some apps likes Camera Awesome , Xolo care,Eden to Green and TegraZone(gives you games which are optimized for Nvdia experience). There are two apps which are specialized for stylus Tegra Draw and Tegra Write. If you are not impressed by these apps you are free to use all the apps provided by JellyBean.
Tegra Note  is using a Stylus very similar to  Galaxy NOTE III. When the stylus is taken out from a Launcher appears with shortcuts to apps Tegra Draw and Tegra Write.and the navigation bar uses two more buttons namely stylus only mode button which makes the stylus the only control device for your tab and lasso tool button which takes screenshots and you can make alterations to the screenshot
Chipset used is NVDIA Tegra 4, the Quad core processor used is clocked at 1.8 GHZ and it is responsible for the tittle "world's fastet". The GPU used is GeForce  with 72 cores. The battery is also fully packed 4000 mAh battery offers 8 hours of web surfing via WIFI and 10 hours of Video playback.Xolo is found 1 GB RAM too fancy although they could have pushed for a  GB one.
Like all other manufacturers XOLO tried to cut the manufacturing cost low by  literally destroying the display quality. 7 inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen has 1280X800 pixel resolution. The multi touch of the tab support up to 10 fingers. The camera of the Tab is 5 Mp rear and VGA infront. The Rear camera has all the features like Autofocus,HDR,face detection,Image stabilization etc.But Camera performance remains top  on charts,Although the Outdoor perfomance of camera is good the indoor performance and video capturing were very poor.It is also the debut of  Camera Awesome app which was avalible exclusively on IOS.The front facing Camera shows top performance and it can be used for video calls.
Although It is the Fastest Tablet there are two Factor's which prevent people from buying it.
  1. Brand Name Xolo- how many will prefer it over SAMSUNG GALAXY TAB and Google's own NEXUS 7 ?
  2. Display-If you compare the Display with it's main rival Nexus 7  you will be very disappointed.

The Xolo series adds yet another budget Phablet to Indian market .The New Xolo Q2000 will cost you rupees 14,999 but it's totally worth buying. If the specifications in the website are to be believed the new  Xolo comes with LTE support It's pretty amazing considering the fact it's just an entry level smartphone . A major challenge faced by the phone is it's running on 1.2 GHZ quad-core processor with 1 GB RAM which means you will have some serious problems when you are using 4G.

The phone has 5.5 inches IPS display (diagonally measured) with 780 X 1280 resolution . The phone
also has 13MP rear camera with autofocus  and 2 MP front facing camera . The battery of the phone is 2600 Mah company claims it will provide 17 hours of talktime.

The phone runs  on Android 4.2 OS which is of course  not up to date  they should have at least tried  Android 4.3 or Android 4.4 ( hope we will get a update soon). The internal memory is 8GB which is good enough for a budget Phablet. Another  interesting feature is USB plug and PLAY which allows you  to  plug a USB cable using OTG cable.
According to IDC reports Phablet shipments in India and other Asian countries  were rising in last year. It even over took shipments of PCs and Tablets shipments. The XOLO Q2000 will heating up the mid-range phablet section in Indian market dominated by Micromax Canvas series phones for sure,It also got completion from other Indian Smartphone makers like Karbon, Spic etc...

FEATURES

  • Android 4.2 Jellybean
  • 1.2 GHZ processor with 1 GB RAM.
  • 5.5 inches IPS display with 720 X 1280 resolution
