First Look on Nokia Lumia 1520

Finally Nokia revealed the latest high end Windows Phone device called Lumia 1520. Lumia 1520 comes with exciting new slim design and Full 1080p HD 6-inch display. It is the first Windows Smartphone with 1080p display and the device features quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor for the first time. Lumia 1520 includes many new features and an Updated Windows Phone 8 OS. Nokia aims to sell the flagship for $750 (around 46,000 indian Rupees) unsubsidized later this year and it comes in four color options: red, white, black and yellow.

Hardware and Appearance 


You wont be surprised by the design of the Lumia 1520 if you are familiar with other Nokia Lumia phones such as Lumia 520 because this phone just look like an expanded version of Lumia 920.The body is dressed in Nokia's traditional unibody polycarbonate and the body is very slim. Its thickness is only 8.6mm.

 There is 32GB internal storage in the 1520, which is the same you'll see in the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and at least one version of HTC's One Max. In addition, you do have that microSD card slot capable of taking 64GB storage, along with 2GB RAM. 

OS and features

Lumia 1520 is being shipped with a slight update in WP8 OS called Windows Phone 8 Update 3.  The Windows operating System comes with somany features in addition to large live tiles, Flipboard, Storyteller app and so on..
In the hardware additions there is NFC onboard, and Qi wireless charging. some of the features of the phone is given,

Cameras and video

Nokia Lumia 1520 comes with 20MP BSI F/2.4 PureView camera with OIS and Carl Zeiss lens. There is BSI sensor and a 2.4 aperture, 16:9 default aspect ratio, and 26mm focal length.Nokia also introduces a separate lens called Refocus, which works like the Lytro camera to shift focus after you take a shot.
The Primary Camera comes with 20 MP, Carl Zeiss optics, optical image stabilization, autofocus and dual-LED flash and also includes 1/2.5'' sensor size, PureView technology, dual capture, geo-tagging, face detection, panorama. Lumia 1520 can capture HD videos with 1080p resolution at 30fps. The Secondary\Front Camera comes with 1.2 MP and 720p video capturing at 30fps.


Overall we can say Nokia have once again delivered a great phone full of good tech.
