Here comes LG G FLEX with curved screen and curved battery
Followed by the brand new Samsung's albeit horizontally curved smartphone known as the Galaxy Round, LG announced the latest Smartphone featuring Curved display with 6-inch screen size and 3,500mAh curved battery which uses patented technology that takes advantage of its unique shape to perform more reliably.
LG introduces its first curved display and curved battery with the announcment of G Flex, a 6-inch quad-core smartphone that features an arched touch screen and rear control buttons.
As the name suggests, G Flex has the "Flexi" curved, 0.34-inch-thick construction, partly thanks to its plastic OLED screen.
Unlike other LG high-end smartphone G Flex uses a OLED screen which is mainly used because of its bending property. The phone has a High Definition 6-inch display with 1280x720 pixel resolution. The handset also features the mentioned curved battery inside. According to LG, the 3,500mAh battery uses patented technology that takes advantage of its unique shape to perform more reliably.
The device powers up by 2.26GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, the same processor in LG G2 Flagship, and a 450MHz Adreno 330 GPU for ultra-smooth gameplay.
