XOLO Q2000 First Look
The Xolo series adds yet another budget Phablet to Indian market .The New Xolo Q2000 will cost you rupees 14,999 but it's totally worth buying. If the specifications in the website are to be believed the new Xolo comes with LTE support It's pretty amazing considering the fact it's just an entry level smartphone . A major challenge faced by the phone is it's running on 1.2 GHZ quad-core processor with 1 GB RAM which means you will have some serious problems when you are using 4G.
The phone has 5.5 inches IPS display (diagonally measured) with 780 X 1280 resolution . The phone
also has 13MP rear camera with autofocus and 2 MP front facing camera . The battery of the phone is 2600 Mah company claims it will provide 17 hours of talktime.
The phone runs on Android 4.2 OS which is of course not up to date they should have at least tried Android 4.3 or Android 4.4 ( hope we will get a update soon). The internal memory is 8GB which is good enough for a budget Phablet. Another interesting feature is USB plug and PLAY which allows you to plug a USB cable using OTG cable.
According to IDC reports Phablet shipments in India and other Asian countries were rising in last year. It even over took shipments of PCs and Tablets shipments. The XOLO Q2000 will heating up the mid-range phablet section in Indian market dominated by Micromax Canvas series phones for sure,It also got completion from other Indian Smartphone makers like Karbon, Spic etc...
